Vanuatu Citizenship and Passport by Investment

In today's globalised world, the demand for mobility, security and financial freedom is higher than ever. One of the fastest ways to achieve it is through Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programmes. Among these, the Vanuatu Citizenship by Investment programme stands out for its speed — approvals in as little as three to four months, with no residency, interview, education or language requirement. Successful applicants obtain a Vanuatu passport by investment, unlocking visa-free travel to 90+ countries and long-term security for their families.

Overview of Vanuatu

Vanuatu, officially the Republic of Vanuatu, is an archipelago nation spread across 82 islands in the South Pacific Ocean. Its capital and largest city is Port Vila, and its official languages are Bislama, French and English — though over 100 languages are estimated to be spoken locally. The local currency is the Vanuatu Vatu.

A Legally Established Programme

Vanuatu launched its citizenship programme in January 2017 alongside the Development Support Program (DSP), established by the Vanuatu Government under the Citizenship Act (CAP 112) — enacted with the authority granted to the Prime Minister by Section 20 of the Citizenship Act (CAP 112) Order No. 215 of 2016.

A Commonwealth member with an English-language legal system, Vanuatu levies no tax on personal income, capital gains, wealth or inheritance, and permits dual citizenship.
